Art. 8. As a foundation of APIMONDIA, with consulting role before the United Nations Organization, FIITEA benefits, as applicable and /or by appointment, from all advantages granted to APIMONDIA by UN authorized bodies and institutions (ECOSOC, FAO, OMS, UNESCO, OMPI, and others), in accordance with their statutes.

Art. 9. FIITEA may execute economic activities - within the limits of the Romanian legislation - which are related and contribute to the achievement of the main purpose of FIITEA.

Thus, FIITEA may organize, coordinate, intermediate, or execute operations and economic activities for the development and profitableness of beekeeping, facilitating economic relations between member organizations of APIMONDIA and other beekeeping organizations or institutions in order to produce and market beekeeping installations, tools, materials and products. Also, it may provide surveys of beekeeping markets and may organize for itself or for third parties, upon request, specialized beekeeping units (labs, documentation centers, workshops, beekeeping plants, pilot stations and centers for bee-therapy and nutrition, etc.), in observance of pertinent legislation.

The activities mentioned in Chapters I and II under the present title may be expanded to other operations and activities necessary for the progress and development of world beekeeping.

Economic activities may be carried out under the legal forms allowed by the law, including commercial companies entirely owned by FIITEA or in association with other legal persona or individuals. FIITEA may also invest in shares, bonds and other value titles as well

The Managing Committee, not being limited by the present Statute decides the legal forms, place of activity and specific type of activity, as well as the organization of such activities.


TITLE III

PATRIMONY

Art. 10. FIITEA funds are collected from:
a) interest to the dividends resulted from placement of available funds, under the terms of the law;
b) dividends of commercial companies created;
c) revenues from economic activities, including the activity of the printing house, subscriptions to publications, newsletters, services, commissions, use of fixed assets and other activities included in the object of activity as provided in Chapter II of Title III in the present Statute;
d) subsidies, donations, sponsorship or legacies. Acceptance of donations is made by the General Director in accordance with pertinent legislation;
e) resources resulted from the state budget and/or local budgets;
f) other revenues provided by the law.

Art. 11. FIITEA may create/participate to commercial companies.

The dividends obtained by FIITEA from the activities of these commercial companies, unless reinvested in the same companies, are used compulsorily to achieve the main purpose of FIITEA.

Art. 12. FIITEA may execute any other economic activities if these are accessory by nature and strictly linked to the main purpose of FIITEA.

Art. 13. Commissions and other revenues obtained from activities carried out by FIITEA are set by decision of the General Director.

Art. 14. FIITEA expenses are approved by the General Director and must fall, within the set limits, into the budget category of revenues and expenses.

Art. 15. Out of the net benefit in the annual balance sheet, after payment of income tax, FIITEA will allocate a quota of maximum 10% in total to one or more of the following: development of world beekeeping, support of activities and objective of the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations - APIMONDIA, to the central fund of this Federation, with the approval of APIMONDIA management, promotion of FIITEA's editorial activity for beekeeping education.
