Purpose of the Foundation
The International Federation of Beekeeping Associations - APIMONDIA is the founder of APIMONDIA FOUNDATION. The Apimondia Foundation offices are located in Bucharest, Romania.
Apimondia Foundation is a non-guvernamental organization with distinctive legal status, which operates as a Romanian private autonomous, non-political, legal persona.
The purposes of Apimondia Foundation are the following:
- To pursue scientific, technical and economic development of beekeeping both in Romania and in the entire world;
- To keep closer relations and cooperation at various levels between beekeepers, the organizations acting in the interest of beekeepers and beekeeping, and other interested circles;
- To support any initiative that should contribute effectively to the improvement of the beekeeping practice and to the profitable distribution of products resulted from this activity.
